Statement from Cedrick

I would again like to apologize in every way possible to Lindsey Paulat, our child, her family, my family, friends and the NFL community for my actions this off season. As I noted at that time, my actions were totally inappropriate, unacceptable and not up to the standards that I try to maintain in my life. What I did was wrong in every way and I take full and complete responsibility for my actions. I accept with out reservation the State of Pennsylvania’s and the League’s disciplinary measures and will comply in every way. Although not required by the Court or the League, I have also participated in counseling that will allow me to continue to work on these issues in my personal life and work to do what is best for our child and her future. Finally I would like to thank all of the many people in the local and NFL community that have assisted me in resolving these issues and provided support for my family and me during this difficult period. -Cedrick Wilson

Steelers fall to Broncos, 31-28

Ced makes big third-down conversion catchThe Steelers jumped out to an early lead, fell behind and tied it late. But it wasn't enough as Jason Elam came on for the Broncos to kick a game-winning field goal with no time left on the clock, as the Steelers fell 31-28 on the road. The loss drops the Steelers to 4-2, but they still remain in first place in the AFC North. “It was a very disappointing loss for us this evening, especially when our guys fought so hard to overcome the adversity,” said head coach Mike Tomlin. “The reality is, you need to give credit to Denver. They really made the critical plays when they needed to and that won them the ball game. We accept what we put on tape and we accept when we fall short. It was a tremendous effort, but not enough to get the win tonight.”Ben Roethlisberger completed 24 of 35 passes for 290 yards and four touchdowns. But he also had two interceptions and a fumble, which the Broncos returned for a touchdown. Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler completed 22 of 29 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns and two interceptions. READ MORE (http://news.steelers.com/article/83278/)
